This month my Purrfect Petite Pouch pattern was published in Happily Hooked crochet magazine’s Last Minute Gifts issue.

It’s the perfect bag to whip up for the cat-lover in your life — in my case, my 7-year-old daughter who would probably be a professional cat if there were such a thing.
Just to show how much she loves cats, our cat absolutely ADORES her. She’s carted him around since she was a toddler and she’s the only one he’ll lay on top of and lick. Meanwhile, when I try to pick him up and cuddle him, he tries to flee like I’ve lit him on fire.
He has such love for the person who feeds him and cleans his litter. *insert eye roll here*

Last year, my daughter dressed up as a black cat for Halloween; this year she was a ghost cat. She owns ALL the cat ears and every week she brings home cat books from the library.
So, yes. She LOVES cats.
When I first made this bag for her, she immediately started carting around her pop-its and other fidget toys in it. It’s the perfect size for her to take everywhere and absolutely adorable to boot.
